I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our new web site. It has been 20 years since I was entrusted with the administration of this great organization and what a great time it has been. Our Corporation, like other solid waste commissions across this province, still has its challenges and battles, but one of the great tools we can all count on is partnership and mutual support.

As strong and fragile as we think we are, one thing must remain in mind – we must support one another if we want to grow and prosper. I would also like to personally thank Denis McIntyre who continues to believe firmly that we should reach out to and work with the community – this web site will allow us to do just that!

Public Relations The goal of the education program is to provide information in an accessible manner to the general public. Partnerships are key to the success of the recycling program in Restigouche, as well. Several teachers and local groups have contacted the Corporation’s office for presentations and visits.

The education program continues to partner with the municipalities / lsd’s and with the 2 local school districts. This year, we put together a comprehensive advertising package that included newspaper and radio commercials about specific waste-related topics. LEARN MORE...
